The different ways to use Transform® (workflows)

Transform® easily fits into your existing workflow. How you choose to use Transform® depends on: 

• Your go-to-market strategy 

• How your test and testing process works

• Who your users are

• How they use your test

Which ways can you use Transform®?

You can use Transform® for both self-testing and operator-led testing. Organisations can invite patients to use the app – or patients can register themselves. 

There are three ways a user can set up and use Transform®:

1) Self-register and test

This is for individuals using over-the-counter (OTC) tests. When a person buys a test, they can download the Transform® app, register themselves and upload their own test results. 

2) Redeem invite and test

This allows individuals to carry out easy-to-use self-tests at home, unsupervised. It’s ideal for:

• Organisations who want to control who they invite to self-test and record results

• Organisations with several entities who need varying levels of access to data and test records

• Prescribed testing

3) Operator-led testing

This is for organisations who need a trained professional – known on Transform® as an operator – to carry out tests and record the results. The operator can create test records for multiple test subjects and upload their results and other data.

A test subject could be human, animal or an environment. 

3a) For human health

Some testing procedures can be complex. You may need a trained operator to carry out the test – or to supervise the person taking a test. This is how you’ll use Transform® if you test in schools, prisons, designated test centres, workplaces, universities and so on.

3b) For non-human testing

If you need to carry out a test in other environments – including water testing, milk testing,  animal testing or for quality control – then you should set up Transform® for operator-led testing.

We will help you to select the right set-up as part of your onboarding process. It might be that you need to use more than one approach to meet your needs.

What if the current ways to use Transform® aren’t right for your needs?

If the modifications you need are already scheduled to be added to Transform® in the future, you can wait until they become available. If you can’t wait, we offer the possibility of paying for a modification to be made available more quickly. If the modifications you need aren’t on our schedule – or represent a significant change to our existing functionality – we can discuss a bespoke approach, which would be costed for separately.
