Recording a result in the app is pretty straightforward - the user should simply follow the steps on the screen.

However, if they are having trouble recording their result, it might be because they have rejected the camera permissions. If camera access is disabled, the user won’t be able to complete the test recording as taking a photo is a mandatory step.

Instructions

To help the user enable camera access, follow these steps.

  1. When you log in, click Record Test.

  2. Select your test result from the list.

  3. Then, add your photo. Tap Take Photo.

  4. If this is your first time using the app, allow the app to access the camera by clicking OK in the camera permissions dialogue that pops up.

  5. If you don’t allow this or if this is not your first time using the app and you’ve disabled your camera, when you tap Take Photo, a box will appear below asking you to go to your device’s settings and give camera access to the app.

  8. You can always change it back later but we recommend keeping it on so you don’t have to change the settings every time.

  9. Now proceed with the result recording.

  10. Next, see Reporting my result: how do I know what my result is? How do I read and interpret my result?

Remember: you won’t be able to submit the test until you’ve completed all required fields.
